More than a sports center
We Are A Community
High Performance Sports and Leisure Center
GSC and ADIT are devoting tireless efforts to bring this sports center to fruition, with the aim of generating a significant impact on the population. We are committed to offering a wide range of programs aimed at benefiting people of all ages, from children to seniors. Our vision is to create spaces that encourage recreation, leisure and sports, thus promoting a healthier and more united community.
In addition, we will work on developing recreational and competitive coastal teams to proudly represent Guanacaste in the sports arena.
PHASE 1
Indoor
Play Ground
Our indoor play space fills a crucial gap in the community, offering a unique, safe environment where children can play and socialize year-round. With no other facility like it in the area, we will provide a much-needed solution for families seeking engaging activities for their kids, while also giving parents a comfortable space to unwind.
Tree Net
Trampolines
Imagine a tree net trampoline park that combines fun and fitness in a unique, elevated setting! This innovative park would offer a thrilling experience for all ages, encouraging active play while enhancing coordination and balance. Nestled among the trees, it promotes outdoor enjoyment and connection with nature. Beyond just entertainment, it fosters community engagement, providing a safe space for families to bond and socialize.
Phase 2
Phase two focuses on constructing outdoor courts, which will be integral to developing the sports center. These courts will accommodate a variety of sports, providing both enjoyable and challenging activities for the student population and athletes.
Park and Courts
The sports center will have:
50m covered Olympic pool
2 padel courts
2 pickleball courts
2 beach volleyball courts
1 5-a-side football pitch
Dog park
Public park
Conscious Design
Our “Conscious Design” includes the reforestation of the green areas of the sports center, creating spaces that integrate harmoniously with nature. In addition, we will develop cycle paths that connect the center with the community, encouraging the use of sustainable means of transport such as bicycles and promoting an active and ecological lifestyle.
Inspiration for the cycle path
Inspired by the cycling culture of Copenhagen, Denmark, cycle paths will be developed throughout the sports complex to encourage the use of bicycles in Tamarindo and its surroundings. This initiative seeks to cultivate a cycling culture and promote active mobility. In addition, a bill is being proposed to turn all of Guanacaste into a "cycle province."
